Pani Jurek was founded by Magda Jurek, a Krakow-born artist and designer, after graduating in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw she took up designing at the beginning of 2010. Her conceptual approach to work has the aim of creating products which are not obvious and not standard. She designs products which you can change and rearranged with space and which also awaken your own creativity. Her popular Maria S.C. Test Tube Chandelier light is our personal favorite! She is also an advocate of sustainability. 'With items which can be used in multiple ways, you can limit your purchasing needs' she says. Pani Jurek is also co-founder of the Association "Based in Warsaw" which was set up to achieve social design as well as design for public areas.
