This quirky You Are In A Discotheque - Why? French Poster Print is one of a series of retro prints based on the 1968 student protest posters of the Atelier Populaire in Paris.
The red, white and blue echoes the French Tricolor flag, and the whole thing is made to resemble an urgent, hastily-printed silkscreen from the barricades.
'Vous êtes dans une discothèque - porquoi?' - 'You are in a disco - why?' One of the great existential questions of this age or any age. Just why are you in a disco? Why?
It's a quirky and unique print for thinkers and disco-heads alike (not that the two are necessarily mutually exclusive, of course - Jean-Paul Sartre was a demon on the dance floor).
Size: A3 42 x 29.7 cm
Digitally produced and professionally printed on 200gsm/120lb premium archival heavy silk paper.
Shipped in a sturdy mailing tube.
The print is sold unframed but fits easily into an off the shelf frame. The frame in the photo is for illustrational purposes only
