Before surrendering to men’s advances, Mlle de Maupin decides to dress up as a man in order to uncover their secrets. She sets off to travel the world under the false name of Theodore, in search of gallant affairs.
Inspired by the Theophile Gautier universe, and initially created for mural use, this Mlle de Maupin portrait depicts a modern and audacious woman who plays with codes of propriety. Produced on a matt aluminium base and framed using an extra matt material known for its silky feel.
This wonderful print is sure to add character to any home or workplace.
